 On Saturday, September 20th, 24 attendees of the FCPNY Publisher’s Conference played the Leatherstocking championship golf course at the Otesaga Resort. Under crystal clear blue skies and against the backdrop of beautiful Lake Otsego, participants enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of golf and camaraderie. 6 foursomes competed in a dual 2-ball and best of 2-ball scramble event. Winners of the 2-ball scramble with a score of one over par 73 were Susan and Dan Holmes. Winners of the best of 2-balls within each foursome with a score of 3 under par 69 were Karen Graves, County Shopper; Loren Colburn, Scotsman Community Publications; Susan Holmes and Dan Holmes. Second place in the two-ball scramble with a 2 over par 74 went to Steve and Kathy Harrison, Genesee Valley PennySaver. Their foursome including David Grayson, Leroy PennySaver and Randy Shepard, County Shopper took second place in the best of 2-balls within the foursome competition.
