What do you do when you have some extra space in your publication? You normally fill it with some predesigned pieces you've run a couple hundred times in the past. It's time for something different. SAPA Headquarters has come up with 10 new ads you can run in your publications when you have some extra space. They are available in full color and grayscale and can be customized with your logo. These ads promote our industry and position your publication as the leader in the community. Feel free to use them in your publications!

PaperChain is excited to share the five most-outstanding entries from their 2011 National Ad Creation Contest.  Selected from a total of 188 outstanding entries from graphic designers at free community papers across the country, the awards were presented at a ceremony at the joint Conference of the Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP) and Community Papers of Florida (CPF.) Each artist received $250 and earned an additional $100 for their publication. Two of the winning ads were created by our very own FCPNY member publications - congratulations to Colleen Kennedy of the Warsaw Pennysaver/Perry Shopper and Caterina Cacace of the Yorktown Pennysaver.

This special competition was put together to develop ads promoting the free paper industry and was open to all PaperChain affiliated free community papers. The winning ads are now a resource for our publications to use -- as house ads, or sales fliers or however you choose to promote the VALUE OF FREE PAPERS. We encourage you to download these ads and begin using these award-winning resources in your own publications.
